What I learned last night

1) Some hoop earrings can actually be too big - particularly those that can double as a choker.
2) How to choke someone to death. Thanks, Jude.
3) I don't really know how "Things that make you go hmmm" goes. Or "Queen of hearts."
4) Ang can stand in for Chaka Khan any day.
5) If one wears leather pants he/she should wear a shirt tucked into them (and undies) to protect from chafing.
6) Nina and I now have matching tattoos.
7) Jeremy should always play Earl.
8) I want a sassy blue wig.
9) Tiffany and the one-strapped guy make an awesomely awesome dance duo.
10) Ronke finished her Ph.D.!
11) Hillel has an awesomely awesome rabbi. Ok, I knew that, but my belief in that was strengthened.
12) Some earrings are just so great that everybody can and should have them.
13) To be careful with the pens at the Kid. JJ had a pen-leaking mishap.
14) Injections are fun - as long as they're from Dr. Love.
15) Krazy Kostume night rocks!
16) Coming up with lists such as this make me go hmmmm.

What about you?

June 20th at the Kid: Krazy Outfit Night!

So Matt the B suggested that we have something of a crazy outfit night at the Kid on Monday (see comments in previous post). I try to make every trip to the Kid crazy outfit night, but let's make it official. I am thinking sparkly British flag shirt. Maybe... What about you?

Philadelphia Freedom

So I am here. And settled. Sort of. I just found my (most recent and important)dissertation stuff. It took about an hour of hunting for it. Of course, I immediately forgot that I put it in an actually accessible place and instead decided to start by digging through 500 lb file boxes for it. Whatevs. I like to do the difficult stuff first. Or I like to make things more difficult than they need to be. I don't know.

Anyway, I am already looking forward to coming back for a visit. Not that Philly isn't cool. I really do like it from what I've seen so far. So many earring stores so close to home! - though, sadly, a little pricier than Claire's. I just wish it were slightly less hot and our new place were slightly less of a mess so I could feel happier about going out and exploring. Plus Joshie is already uber-stressed with bar preparations, so I'd have to go by myself. Which is cool, but it's cooler with him. Anyways. So I am going to be back in Madison the week of June 20th. I think I'll get in on Sunday, but maybe not until Monday. But either way, I think a night at the Kid could be in order on Monday night - if that's really what Matt the Bartender wants. B/c, of course, what Matt wants, Matt gets...

What about the rest of your fools?
