If anyone is paying any attention...

I don't blame you if you're not. I know I have been uber-boring blog-wise for the past year or so. A quick update, in case you care: I had kind of a health scare a couple weeks ago. I am actually having a breast sonogram next week. My second opinion (and way more reasonable) doctor things there's really nothing wrong, but just thought we should make sure. So I only freaked about it for a couple days.

In way more pleasant news, I found a karaoke location here in DC! RIGHT NEXT DOOR. This insane daytime cafeteria/nighttime bar (sort of) has a karaoke machine that a group of friends and I were totally able to take over. DC was overwhelmed by the double dose of GNR from me. It was not Karaoke Kid (and there was no Matt the Bartender or Matt the DJ or any other Matts there at all), but it'll do.

Speaking of karaoke...I am making my regular I'm-going-to-be-in-Madison-so-when-are- we-going-to-do-karaoke? announcement. I'll be in town from Valentine's Day (will you be my Valentine?) until Fat Tuesday (the 20th). Hope to see you then!
